Çalışmaların <a href="https://foodstudiesjournal.com/index.php/1/ethic">Etik ve bilimsel</a> ilkelere uygun bir şekilde yapılmış ve yayınlanmış olması esastır. Dergi değerlendirme süreçlerini bilimsel teammülerden taviz vermeksizin mümkün olan en kısa sürede sonlandırmaktadır.
